Our next destination was Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple in Kottarakkara, a truly distinctive temple. Though this is a Shiva temple, the importance is given to Lord Ganesha. Here, they continuously prepare Unni Appams in front of Lord Ganesha throughout the day. When you approach the temple, you can witness the cooking process, and just beyond that, you’ll find the Lord. The Unni Appams are delicious! Additionally, the temple boasts a large tank in front of it.

Oh yes the temple does look like a resort.
