This is one of the ASI temples in Kanchipuram, constructed from sandstone during the reign of Nandhivarman Pallava.
What makes this temple particularly captivating are the intricately carved sculptures adorning the walls of the mukha mandapam. Here, you can marvel at depictions of Gangadhara Murti, Kala Samhara Murti, Ravana Anugraha Murti, and Gaja Samhara Murti.
We visited this temple as a group tour organized by Madhusudhan Kalaichelvan and through that i got introduced to Sriram L, he has a knack of recording interesting tit bits and here is one such video of Madhusudhan explaining some of the sculptures.
