This Temple, located near Kazhakuttoom in Trivandrum, holds a unique connection with Sri Padmanabhaswami Temple. It is believed that while Sri Padmanabhaswami’s (Lord Vishnu’s) navel resides in Padmanabhaswami Temple, His feet are present in Thrippadhapuram Temple. The primary deity of this temple is Lord Shiva, depicted in His most formidable form. Adjacent to the Shiva lingam, there is an idol of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Vishnu, playing a flute. Legend has it that Lord Krishna’s melodious tunes soothe the wrath of Lord Shiva.
