After the Nirmalya darisanam and Padmanabhaswamy Temple, we headed to Thiruvattaru. The Adikesava Perumal Temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams. This temple is among the thirteen historical Divya Deshams of Malai Nadu, and it boasts a picturesque location, enveloped by three rivers on three sides—namely, the River Kothai, River Pahrali, and River Thamirabarani.
The Thiruvattaru deity is composed of nearly 16,000 Shaligrama stones imported from Nepal, as indicated by a board on the premises. The Lord here is 22 ft and is bigger than the one in Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
