Situated atop a gentle hill along the banks of the river Palar, this temple in Pazhaya Seevaram holds a unique significance. It marks the confluence of three rivers: Palar, Cheyyar, and Saraswathi, forming the sacred Triveni Sangamam.
If you ascend further up the hill from the temple, you’ll come across a small temple area. It’s at this location that a special festival called ‘Malai Urchavam’ takes place annually during the Pongal season. During this festival, Lord Sri Varadharaja Perumal from Kanchipuram is brought to this hilltop temple for divine celebrations.
